I tell you that if you keep being good, maybe I'll get you a whole bunch of balloons for your next birthday... maybe we'll even fill your bedroom with them. The thought alone has you watching every inch of air I add.
Look at how big it is already. It's still soft though, so it needs more air. I keep blowing and blowing, trying to get the neck stretched out the way that you like it. Closer.... just a little more air. Almost there... Pop!
And the balloon was gone... just like that! I didn't mean to over-inflate it, but now there is no balloon for you to play with in your room. I guess that's just what happens to balloons sometimes.
