When I, Candle Boxxx, got a broken foot in real life, everything became so much harder. It was so frustrating to be walking with crutches and an itchy foot cast but even more of a struggle to be driving with a cast. With one bare foot and one cast foot, my red toenails are on display as I'm hopping down one stair to the garage. I drop one shiny ballet flat and hop onto the shoe with my large foot.
It's hard get into the car but I manage to throw the crutches inside and start the engine. I gingerly press the reverse pedal. While driving with a foot cast, I have to distract myself from the itchy cast but I'm toe wiggling my red pedicure in frustration. I try not to scratch against my bare leg with the fiberglass cast.
The doctor's office isn't open yet and I have to sit in the car with my itching cast. I try to get comfortable while waiting and am toe scrunching my sore feet. Jamming fingers in the cast doesn't help and neither does toe scratching. Maybe cast beating will help as much as I want to beat my head against the wall?
