I found something that instantly brought me back home… plantain chips, a snack we eat all the time in the Caribbean.
Sitting in the sun, I couldn’t help but feel excited to have them again after so long. The moment I take a bite, that crunchy, salty taste hits me and it feels so familiar… like a little piece of home with me.
It’s funny how something so simple can bring back so many memories. Growing up with these, they’ve always been part of everyday life, and now having them here makes me feel close to home again.
I’m just enjoying every bite, happy, nostalgic, and completely in the moment…
