Little does he know, I’m slowly rubbing my feet together beneath it, flexing my toes and enjoying just how distracted he’s becoming.
I start teasing him through the headset, describing my soft soles, my toes and exactly what I’m doing under the desk while he desperately tries to keep the conversation professional.
By the end of the call, my feet have made quite the impression… and apparently, they’re worth a pay rise.
