Stress Induced Cardiac Event
I left the office and headed straight to the school and I had every intention of working from home when we got there. By the time we got home, my symptoms worsened.
The stress of the day was too much until eventually it dropped me to the floor.
Clutching my chest, I was able to make it to my cell phone to call 911. I could hardly breathe and the chest tightness became unbearable. When the paramedics arrived, they performed chest compressions and when that didn’t work, they use the defibrillator paddles. Unfortunately, it was too late to revive me.
