We got the chance to chat with DarlingJosefin and Squeezypeach about their experiences working within the adult industry and on YourVids as content creators who specialize in submissive content.

DarlingJosefin: "I'm Josefin, AKA DarlingJosefin! I've been in the adult industry since 2018. I started out camming, but thanks to my Darlings, I was able to move solely into my true passion - role play videos!"

What is your favorite part about working as an adult content creator?

DarlingJosefin: "I love my job because of the freedom and the creativity! Like so many creators, I have a disability that makes it difficult for me to work a regular 9-5 job. The adult industry has allowed me to not only be financially independent but to thrive in ways I never would have thought possible for myself. On top of that, I get to be creative! It's so much fun to get dressed up, act, be sexy, improvise, and come up with new ideas to make every video even hotter and more immersive than the last. I'm so grateful for all my Darlings who have made my dreams come true - I really couldn't ask for anything better!"

Squeezypeach: "Through sex work I have the flexibility to take care of myself, body and mind, without compromising my income. It's the first job I've ever had where I truly don't have to do anything I don't want to do. I love the creative outlet I get through making porn and I'm really into puzzles and games so that comes through with my camming!"

What is your favorite video you've ever created and why is it your favorite?

DarlingJosefin: "There is a custom video a fan commissioned, where I was given a great deal of creative freedom to build the storyline, use special effects, and develop my role play characters. It's called 'WHAT DID YOU DO TO STEPMOMMY?' and it's one of my best-sellers now! Go check it out, I'm sure you'll see why it's my favourite. ;)"

Squeezypeach: "It's so hard to pick just one favorite video! I love a transformation, especially where I start off either defiant and bratty or really shy, but by the end of the video I'm a super submissive babbling cumdrunk little play thing lol I think the best video that exemplifies this is 'Your Babysitter's StepDaddy Issues' - but I also wanna give a special shout-out to 'Breeding Your Little Princess' because I got to build a pillow fort and film in it and that was one of my favorite experiences making content!"

If you had an unlimited budget and a full scale movie team to create a video, what type of video would you make?

DarlingJosefin: "With an unlimited budget … I would make a whole TV series! A show with a real storyline that shows a developing relationship between the characters but doesn't cut off when they start having sex lol. It would transcend genres, through comedy, drama, romance, and porn, like nothing we've seen before. I think that would be unbelievably hot!"

Squeezypeach: "I would love to make a full on animated cartoon porno movie of myself! It would match so well with the submissive taboo roleplays I do and it would just be so fun to have a lil cartoon of myself! Plus I could make her do things that are otherwise limited by real world physics >;3"

What advice would you give to performers looking to create content within the submissive niche?

DarlingJosefin: "I would recommend only making submissive content if you yourself are submissive, or a switch like me! The reason my Darlings like my submissive stuff is because they can tell I'm genuinely turned on. Like, you can literally see my pussy dripping! In my experience, if you can bring yourself into sub space - if you FEEL submissive - then the rest will just come naturally. For me, certain clothing, makeup, and dirty talk gets me in the mood. If that's not possible, you can intentionally change your body language to depict yourself as willing and docile - for me, I tend to end up with a softer voice, a pleading expression (literally 🥺 lol), and a lot of self-touching. It takes practice, but as with most roleplaying, the important thing (in my opinion) is what you're feeling. That's what will come across on camera!"

Squeezypeach: "My best advice for any niche is to do something that really works for you, obviously it's a good idea to do what sells well for you, but it's so good for your brain if it's also something you enjoy doing and comes naturally for you! It's easy to get burnout in this industry and it really helps if you're loving what you're doing! For submissive content in particular, it's extra important to reinforce your boundaries, not only with your fans but with yourself. Being submissive doesn't just mean following orders and being obedient and being a good dom isn't just bossing someone around. Even if it's not a long-standing relationship, it's still important to maintain respect for each other in any dom/sub scenario. I would never let a dom disrespect me and that doesn't make me any less of a sub. Also being a bratty sub is underrated! I make a lot of videos where I'm being manipulative, playing mind games, and otherwise being super devious and it's toying with the power balance; I'm still in the submissive position as your step-daughter, your student, or the babysitter, but I've got you weak for me. Knowing you can't resist me fulfills my need for praise and adoration so once I know I've got you wrapped around my finger, I can let my walls down and go full sub space. I love to build up that energy throughout a scene and let it slowly unfold. A great example of this is my video 'Bad Influence'!"

If you had to pick only 3 kinks or categories and create videos pertaining to those for the rest of your career, what would they be and why?

DarlingJosefin: "I would choose: (1) dirty talk, which is kind of what I'm known for, (2) role play, which feels like cheating but I just love playing all kinds of characters, and (3) surprisingly, femdom! I'm a switch, and I think femdom videos are so much fun to make. Submissive men are also so much fun to interact with!"

Squeezypeach: "My desert island content categories: taboo roleplay, naive/bimbo, and bratty! See 'I Only Like Older Men' for all 3! Special shout out to the naive/bimbo category, there's something about being a slutty airhead who's borderline indifferent to the whole situation that's so fun! What is your favorite hobby outside of creating content?

DarlingJosefin: "My favourite hobby is playing board games! I have a huge board game collection and it's something I chat with my Darlings about all the time. If you need a good board game recommendation, hit me up!"

Squeezypeach: "I have a ridiculous amount of hobbies! I love working with small objects so I do a lot of miniature scenes, 3D collages, dioramas - I recently sewed a bunch of trinkets onto a canvas and I'm obsessed with it. I love to DIY my apartment; I have a hot pink shag fur wall in my living room and a blue velvet bookshelf I made myself. I'm also really into physical games and puzzles, I read over 50 books last year (mostly horror novels), and my Letterboxd account is very important to me."

If you had to pick one food dish to describe your personality, what would it be?

DarlingJosefin: "This is such a hard question! I can't think of anything! I'm gonna have to ask my fans haha."

Squeezypeach: "I feel like I'm a lemon cream pie: soft, sweet, decadent but that sour (bratty?) lemon zest balances it out to make the perfect sweet treat."

What's a fetish or kink you haven't tried yet that you really want to try?

DarlingJosefin: "I love new fetishes! One I've been wanting to explore more is body swapping. I've only done one video like this but I had so much fun with it. Typically I only have time to film custom videos though so … someone order a body swap custom!"

Squeezypeach: "Omg I'd love to make outdoor content! I've done some slutty things outside, but I've never made outdoor content and I really want to! It's the only downside for me living in a huge city; there's nowhere secluded enough unfortunately. I really need to plan a lil work vacation to somewhere I can film in the sunshine."

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

DarlingJosefin: "I'd love to go to Turkey to see some of the Neolithic ruins, like the Gobeklitepe! Recently I was lucky enough to go to Rome, and seeing all of the ancient structures there really puts your own life into perspective. I'm really interested in that kind of stuff!"

Squeezypeach: "I really want to visit Finland! I've heard such wonderful things and it seems like a really cool place. Also they have an insane amount of vegan restaurants which is a huge perk! It's hard to travel as a vegan lol"

If you could time travel and talk to yourself on the first day of your adult career, what would you tell your past self?

DarlingJosefin: "I would tell myself that this is a real CAREER! When I first started, like so many people outside the industry, I believed it was only possible for women to be sex workers temporarily. I thought it was only a stepping stone to other things. That might be true for some people, but it took me years to realize that I could safely commit to sex work as a long-term career. I threw myself into my work, and that's when I started seeing just how great our industry can be! It's not perfect, but the good side is formed by intelligent, resilient, creators and generous, dedicated fans, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it!"

Squeezypeach: "If I could give some advice to my little baby sex worker self, I would tell her to be so much better with her boundaries. For far too long I let fans get away with bad behavior because they paid me well and as it turns out, nice people also pay well! So now I make sure I give my attention to those who deserve it. Other than that, I'm really happy with the path I've taken in this industry, as cool as it has been to get that occasional big boost of being in the top creators and making crazy money for a little while, I really prefer the balance that I've been in for the past few years. I feel very grounded and secure in my work. I'm keeping a good pace, all my needs are met, and I have the most incredible core group of fans that mean the absolute world to me. I know that sounds so cheesy but it's so true, I adore my guys!"
