YourVids Creators Remind You That "You're More Than Numbers"

Kind and inspiring words from our creators touching on World Suicide Prevention Day, reminding you that you're more than your numbers.

It's September 10th, the world is pausing for World Suicide Prevention Day, and we wanted to hear from our creators about ways they emotionally regulate and re-center themselves when they're feeling pressured by the weight of numbers. Whether it's followers, sales, or growth... numbers can become overwhelming. So we asked some of our amazing creators to get real about mental health, and what they shared moved us more than we can say.

Creating content looks like a dream from the outside, and a lot of days it is. You set your own hours, you build something that's entirely yours, and you connect with fans who adore you. But there's a side of this work that doesn't make it into the recap - the pressure to always be "on." The comment sections that can turn cruel without warning. The stigma that makes it harder to open up to friends and family about what you do. The slow months that make you question everything. Add in the isolation of working from home, and it can be a recipe for mental health struggles if you're not checking in on yourself frequently.

That's exactly why conversations like this one matter. Because behind every profile, every clip, and every subscriber count is a whole human being with good days, hard days, and everything in between.

The Creators Who Showed Up

For this video, some truly wonderful humans opened up about mental health, self-care, and what keeps them going. Go show some love to LaBlueSiren, M1lfymoo, Mayaeyes, Monique Miles, TiggerRosey, klivvia, Destiny Diaz, and SashaRaee. It takes real courage to talk about this stuff publicly, especially in an industry where people expect you to be fantasy fuel around the clock. These creators chose honesty over the "internet fantasy," and that kind of vulnerability is exactly what changes the conversation around mental health. We're so grateful to every one of them.

Checking In Is Part of the Job

Taking care of your mental health isn't a luxury you earn after you hit some milestone. It's simply part of the work. You can't pour into your content, your fans, or your community from an empty cup. So consider this your reminder to check in with yourself the same way you'd check in on a friend. How are you sleeping? When was the last time you took a full day off without guilt? Do you have people in your life you can be completely honest with? If any of those questions made you wince a little, that's worth paying attention to.

If you're in a good place right now, wonderful. Check in on your creator friends anyway. A simple "hey, how are you actually doing?" can mean more than you'll ever know. This community is at its best when we look out for each other.

One Last Thing

To every creator reading this: you are so much more than your view counts, your subscriber numbers, your rankings, or your revenue graphs. You were a whole, worthy, irreplaceable person long before you ever uploaded your first clip, and you'll be one long after. On World Suicide Prevention Day and every other day, we hope you treat yourself with the same love you give this community.

You're more than numbers. 💜
